Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant will be an integral team member working across most of BikeMN’s core programs with a central focus on assisting the Supporter Relations Manager with memberships, donations, office management, and events. This support will include data collection and entry, printing and mailing donation receipts, merchandise, and handwritten thank you cards,, and other core program functions. A great candidate is a self-starter who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and anticipate the needs of those around them. Knowledge and lived experience regarding biking and walking is a plus. Please note: this is a part-time position for about 20 hours/week

Communications & Advocacy Intern

The Communications and Advocacy Intern will receive individual attention from BikeMN staff on a mixture of projects that cover the broad spectrum of communications- social media & blog posts, events coordination, including the MN Bike Walk Summit, planning, and implementation duties, as well as bike/ped advocacy-related tasks. It is our goal that the experience interns have with BikeMN helps them get to the next level in their education and/or career aspirations.

Education Associate

The Education Associate is a new role at BikeMN and will be an integral team member working with BikeMN’s education director and coordinator to deliver comprehensive biking and walking education for all Minnnesotans. This position will focus on BikeMN’s new metro-wide adult learn-to-ride program for adults experiencing inequities and on expanding the proven Minnesota Walk! Bike! Fun! youth education program statewide. The Education Associate will also support People Friendly Driver and Smart Cycling programs and, at times, work with other BikeMN staff and volunteers on other BikeMN programs and events.

Education Director
The Education Director will lead BikeMN’s diverse and expanding suite of education services. This is a new leadership role at BikeMN that will think big about our education sustainability and growth. Lots of partner work with communities, school districts, other non-profits and community organizations, state agencies will be essential. Primary roles of this position will be overseeing the continued successful delivery of the Walk! Bike! Fun! Program, development and expansion of the Adult Learn to Ride program, development of People Friendly Driver, and implementation of BikeMN’s educational goals (found in our strategic plan).
This position will also be in charge of evaluating the programs, impact, and reach of activities with guidance from professionals, developing supportive programs for volunteers to participate in and enhance BikeMN’s education programs, and collaborating with other education organizations.
