Bike Commuting: Challenges, Perspectives and the Pursuit of Happiness

A dozen speakers will give short, informational presentations on bike commuting from a variety of perspectives. The keynote speaker will be Shawna Mullen, who will talk about when and why large organizations like Essentia have an interest in employees commuting by bike. Also speaking will be employees of Duluth Public Library, city councilor Awal, members of Vibrant Streets Duluth, representatives of BikeMN and others. They’ll cover topics ranging from internal bike culture, ebikes and future bike corridors in Duluth.
