Hummingbird Trail – Grand Opening
The Hummingbird Trail Association is proud to announce the official Grand Opening of the Hummingbird Trail, taking place on Saturday, May 30, 2026. This exciting new recreational trail invites residents and visitors alike to explore the natural beauty of the area while enjoying a day full of activities, family-friendly fun, and community connection.
The celebration will kick off at 9:00 a.m. at the trailhead with registration and a free-will-offering breakfast, welcoming participants of all ages. Throughout the day, attendees can take part in a scavenger hunt with prizes, encouraging exploration of the trail and surrounding landmarks.
A highlight of the event includes special challenges for both youth and adults:
- Youth Challenge (ages 6–13): Participants have the chance to win a bicycle (x2)
- Adult Challenge (ages 14+): Participants can enter to win an e-bike
All scavenger hunt entries must be returned by 2:00 p.m. to qualify for prizes.
