About the Event

BikeMN’s Ted Duepner will be tabling at the event!
The Center for Transportation Studies and Humphrey School of Public Affairs are co-hosting a screening of the “Community Power” series of short films produced by the Redford Center focused on the future of transportation, sustainability, and community empowerment.

This series includes “Community Power Minnesota: Transportation and Happiness,” featuring the research of University of Minnesota Professor Yingling Fan. Following the screening, CTS Director Kyle Shelton will moderate a panel featuring Fan; Mariia Zimmerman, Strategic Advisor for Technical Assistance and Community Solutions, U.S. Department of Transportation; Minneapolis Public Works Director Margaret Anderson-Kelliher; and Minnesota Department of Public Health’s Emily Smoak.

A social reception will be held immediately following the event in the adjacent Mondale Commons. Light refreshments will be served.

Registration is not required.
