Join the ALS MN Bike Ride 2025!
This event offers four rides, all led by a ride leader. The 52 mile Long route starts at 8:30, the 42 mile Medium-Long route starts at 9:00, the 28 mile Medium route starts at 9:30 and the 10 mile Short route also starts at 9:30.
All routes start from the Community Center located at 14727 209th Street North in Scandia, MN. Scandia is about a 50 minute drive northeast of Minneapolis.
You will ride along quiet roads in rural Washington County past horse farms, through small towns and along forested lanes.
The purpose of this ride is to build awareness about Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The organizers of this ride also request a donation to the ALS Therapy Development Institute (TDI), a research organization devoted to finding treatments and ultimately a cure for ALS.
To donate go to the Fundraising Page and click the ‘Donate’ link at the top of the page. Enter your information. Please also click ‘In Memory/Honor Of’ and then enter the name Mark’s Team. This designation will enable the organizers to submit a match request from a charitable foundation. Your donation will be confidential.
Now the biking part.
