The 38/50 Mile Routes4 Rest Stops!

Covering many of the most popular routes in the metro (while avoiding those too congested for our large ride) we think we’ve struck a great balance with this route. Riders will split off from the 20 mile route shortly after visiting the Lyndale Farmstead Rest Stop on Bryant Avenue (just 7 miles in) when they reach the Midtown Greenway and head west along the “Hopkins Loop.” There they will reach The Depot Coffee House rest stop at mile 16.5 and have the option to head back east from there or continue west for the bonus 12 mile loop using part of the crushed limestone Minnesota River Bluffs Trail, 9-Mile Creek Trail, and a few bike lanes and shoulders with optional second visit to The Depot. After that is a long straight shot along the redesigned Cedar Lake Trail reconnecting to the Midtown Greenway (stop at Venture Bikes at mile 36.5) before hitting the river and heading north until crossing the river at the #9 bridge and onto the Dinkytown Greenway. This will lead riders to the Dual Citizen Brewing Rest Stop in Saint Paul at mile 45.5 (who have graciously agreed to open their tap room at 10am to host riders of the TCBT and enjoy $1 off taps!). Enjoy treats or a mid ride beverage and continue the short distance back to Wabun Park for the finish.

The TCBTwenty-three – 23.5 miles

A scenic route that takes riders west along Minnehaha Creek, north along the amazing separated cycletrack on Bryant Avenue where you’ll find the Lyndale Farmstead rest stop at mile 7.3. Continue north until you meet the Midtown Greenway and head east to find the Venture Bikes rest stop at mile 10. Continue east until you hit the Mississippi river and travel north to the #9 bridge on your way to mile 19 where you’ll find Dual Citizen Brewing in Saint Paul. Enjoy Pelham Avenue cycletrack on your way back to the river and scenic views back to the Ford Parkway bridge and Wabun Park.
