For more than fifteen years, ARTCRANK lived where bike culture and art collide. What started in Minneapolis brought cyclists, illustrators, designers, and printmakers together around a shared love of bikes and creative expression.

One-night shows, hundreds of posters

The idea traveled. Shows popped up in cities across the U.S. and Europe — always one-night events, packed with energy and hundreds of original posters celebrating cycling.

The quiet years

An archive in waiting

When the shows ended, the work didn’t disappear. Two hundred original limited-edition screenprints — from nearly two hundred artists — have been in storage, waiting for the right moment.

Venture Bikes Midtown and Uptown Art Fair After Dark are reviving ARTCRANK for one night on the Midtown Greenway — a celebration of the corridor where this culture still lives, and an invitation for riders, artists, and neighbors to rediscover it together.
