Juneteenth Slow Glow – An Adult Slow Roll After Dark
This is the Kick-off adult event for the Slow Roll Season and the final event of a Juneteenth celebrating “Black Bodies in Motion as the Ultimate of FREEDOM.” This Slow Roll is an adult social ride that will leave our location at the 10th Ave entrance to the Midtown Greenway, between Lake Street and 28th (just north of 29th Street). We will meet on the Midtown Greenway at the former Freewhheel location. Please arrive between 5:30 and 6:00 if you need lights on your bikes. We will Celebrate with a stop midway at a secret location where we will be greeted by a beautiful meal and music by Chaz Millionaire/KMOJ- dancing under the starlight! We will have a light kit for your bikes, decorating lights for all that need them (please bring 3 AA batteries), and we will have a limited number of bikes, so please register early! You may leave the group and head home at any time, We will return by 10:30/11:00 pm.
We are contributing lights to decorate bikes for FREE. Please contribute what you would like- please bring a pack of AA Batteries. All over 18+ are welcome, and please bring a little money or plastic, a water bottle, and a spare tire.
