Tour de Trails

This annual community bike ride showcases Shoreview’s extensive multi-use trail network and encourages residents and visitors to explore the scenic paths that connect parks, neighborhoods, and community spaces. Hosted each summer as part of Shoreview’s recreational programming, the event offers multiple route options. The course highlights segments like the Rice Creek Park area with opportunities to take shorter cut-ins if desired. Riders check in at designated start times in the morning, receive route maps, and are encouraged to wear helmets and follow all local biking safety guidelines; rest stops with water are provided on the long route and convenient park facilities with restrooms are available along the way. This ride is a great way to experience Shoreview’s nearly 90 miles of maintained trails that are part of a system that helped earn the city recognition as a Bicycle-Friendly Community.
