We hope you can join us for our upcoming Active Living Ramsey Communities Quarterly meeting.
Melissa Barnes, PE, Rethinking I-94 Project Director | MnDOT Metro District and Austin Hauf, AICP, WSB Senior Professional Transportation Planner will do an overview on the Rethinking I94 project. They will include a recap of recent community engagement on the alternatives, and then talk through the walkability and bikeability approach for this phase and future phases of the project. Carissa Dillon is the first Food Security Coordinator for Ramsey County. In 2022 her team completed a Food Security Assessment which revealed deep systems gaps in food insecurity and community-based solutions. Following a 24/25 Food Security Strategic Plan was published as a guiding document to address food insecurity. She will discuss background, community-driven solutions and next steps.
