Minneapolis Alley Cat Bike Race

This is a free open to all levels Alley Cat race through the heart of Minneapolis. For those that don’t now what an alley cat race is it’s pretty much a bicycle scavenger hunt through the city. Show up, get a sheet, locate check points on map, plan your route. We will start in the center of Loring Park at 5:00PM. There can be either teams of doubles or solo. Arrive a bit early to meet some fellow bikers and plan the most efficient route. Plan on the whole route taking about 2 hours or so given on your experience level. All checkpoints will be within the Downtown, Uptown, Northeast, Powderhorn, University, and Lakes neighborhoods. Please ride safely at your own risk. Mind all traffic and bicycle laws while participating. There will be prizes to first, second, third, and last place. The race will finish at Lago Tacos in Uptown as the final checkpoint. From there feel free to come in for a beer, hang out, and make some new friends! See less
